Journey in Q Space

Looking again.

I use constrained transformations as a way to escape the obvious reading of an image.

Using Fourier transform for the Q Space series and rotational symmetries in Kaleidoscope, I shift the image into structure, repetition, and paradox.

The algorithm runs once. The shift, if it works, keeps running in you.

Intro

Two methods, one question.

Journey in Q Space is a public record of that process. Each work starts from a photograph, passes through a transformation, and stops when something unexpected appears.

Series

Two series.

KALEIDOSCOPES

These works compress source images into rotational systems. Architecture, objects, surfaces, and incidental textures are folded into repetition until balance, tension, and internal echo replace ordinary perspective. The original scene does not disappear. It survives as residue inside a denser order.
QSPACE

Q Space presents transformation as a readable event. The source remains close enough to the output for the operation to stay visible. Instead of hiding the process, these works preserve comparison: before and after, scene and system, observation and perturbation. This feed is less about abstraction alone than about the emergence of structure through explicit constraint.
